The Art of Fire Dance

Spontaneous Combustion is a series of fire dances both free flowing and choreographed using a variety of fire toys ( See The Elements). These toys, and techniques, both old and new, have origins from the Orient, the poi and moi poi dance from New Zealand and Hawaii, yoga from Asia, adajio, and circus arts. All are combined with our personal styles, and modern-day music such as trance, techno, house, and classic favourites, creating a unique, and hard-hitting explosion of the senses which mesmorizes people.

Fire is a beautiful element to work with. Often around a fire place, or camp fire or you will find people gazing at a flame´s morphing shapes. Animate this flame in the form of a dance, and it is captivating!!

All shows are performed with sparkling, eyecatching costumes which reflect the fire and look magical.

   Spontaneous Combustion is a show that is suitable for outside events during the night, or inside events that are darkened (provided that the inside space is big enough). For daytime events, we Fairy Fire have a range of acrobalance performances, body art, and clowning skills (see Balanced Love, and Aroundabout Clowns).
For small spaces we have a range of glow toys which are a beautiful alternative to fire.(See Photo Gallery, in What's New)
